Nothing is new under the sun ☀️

The great king Solomon wrote that nothing is new under the sun.

In today’s world where things seem to change everyday, we may ask ourselves if this statement is true.

Recently, I came across an old clip taken in the 1990s, where people were expressing the hopes they had in that century.

Most people were talking about getting better education for their children, getting better jobs, better governance and fighting racism.

To my surprise, these are the same issues we are tackling as a society today, many years later. Is this to say that nothing has been done? NO.

Much has actually been done but somehow for every generation, the same things keep coming up in another form. The human struggle for a better life and the fight between good and bad keeps going on like a continuous wheel in constant motion.

Each of us is within our generation move this wheel a small part and leave the next to the next generation.
